Contact the local office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts (in telephone book or 1-800-252-5555). You may search for “optometrist” on the Comptroller’s website, but the website warns users to verify with the Comptroller whether the documents found are still correct.
A “T” after license number shows the public and pharmacists that doctor can practice as a therapeutic optometrist.
A “TG” after license number shows the public and pharmacists that doctor can practice as a therapeutic optometrist and an optometric glaucoma specialist.
