The Texas Jurisprudence Examination is administered solely by the NBEO (National Board of Examiners in Optometry). The test may be taken on any computer connected to the Internet (see the NBEO Website for details).
Filing Deadlines
All applicants must submit a completed application to the Texas Optometry Board on or before the filing deadline below. Applicants must also register on or before the filing deadline with the NBEO (see the NBEO website – a fee is required).

Reminder
In order to take the Texas Jurisprudence Exam administered by the NBEO, a completed Texas application and the correct fee must be submitted to the Texas Optometry Board on or before the filing deadline listed above.
